Assigning Message Templates
Before an agent can use a messaging template, it must be assigned to their user profile. Administrators or users with a custom role that includes the MANAGE_ALL_MESSAGE_TEMPLATES permission can assign templates to users.
To assign a message template to a user:
- Go to User Management > Users.
- Click on the name of the user that you are assigning the template(s) to.
The user details panel appears. - Click in the Add Message Template... field under Message Templates.
A drop down appears with the list of available templates. - Select the template that you want to add from the list, or type the name into the field and press Enter.
- Click the plus sign () next to the template name to add it to the user's profile.
- Repeat steps 3 through 5 for any additional templates that you want to add.
